Before anything else, I believe every person deserves to feel heard, seen and accepted. Being accepted as you are can allow you to come to know yourself in meaningful, and impactful ways. My practice reflects my deep devotion to the belief that there is goodness inside of all of us, waiting to be met.
Hello! My name is Emily LeMoine (she/her).
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology. I work with young adults across Ontario who are navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and effects of unresolved trauma. I can help by offering coping skills, guidance in boundary setting, and achieving goals that matter to you. I came to this work because I believe deeply in the capacity people have to heal and grow in safe relationships. My approach is warm, empathetic, and grounded in compassion. I utilize my curiosity to uncover your strengths that will guide our work.
I typically am a good fit for young adults looking to gain coping skills, improve daily habits, confidence building, as well as healthier relationships. I am gender-affirming and a queer individual; I welcoming all identities. I show up with bubbly and warm nature, while remaining grounded and calm to foster a deep connection with you. In my spare time, I like to draw, cook new recipes, ride my bicycle, and listen to music.
